help understanding ovulation induction drugs

Hi ladies,

i'm on cd1 maybe, i say maybe cause i think the witch is here and i have a light flow for an hour then spotting for a few hours then and hour of flow and more spotting, better than yesturday which was all spotting. so when should i consider it cycle day 1?

Anyway the reason i'm here is i've got a follow up appointment with my gyno in about 5 days. I'll get back blood results and then will be given some type of medication to help with ovulation. I'm hoping it wount be clomid cause 6 years ago when i was having trouble TTC #2 i was given 4 cycles of clomid that didn't work. and i ended up needing an ovary drilling. So i guess my questions are

1. what did you take, when did you take it and for how long?
2. has anyone skipped clomid alltogether?
3. what are injectables like?
4. has anyone gotten pregnant using injectables?
