Help! when will i ovulate??

its been exactly 7 days after my DnC and out of curiousity, i checked with an hpt today, did 3 hpts: one clearblue, one IC 10miU and a FMU.
All gave me
NEGATIVES

so i presume all the hcg from the pregnancy is gone? like, when will i ovulate then and when will i get my next period so i can start ttc again??
i am so happy! i was afraid that the hcg stays and stays and stays for months!
but now its all gone!!!! thank the surgeon for doing such a clean job!

Hi

it can take time to ovulate after a miscarriage even if all is gone; not all women ovulate in the first cycle and it seems from other ladies on here OPKs may not work as accurately in the first couple of months (I don't use them as they don't work accurately for me at any time), just try to have patience, your body can take time to recover and its no bad thing. Your body will know when you're ready.

hi, we won't try this cycle and we ain't preventing as well... just thinking if we should continue using condoms or take the risk and not use anything... i wanted to try next cycle but I'm getting all the usual ovulation EWCM at the moment....

This is one you'll prob only know in hindsight - 14 days before the next af - unfortunately there's no way of knowing how your hormones will be affected - some are straight back in others are messed up. Also - due to this you can't really trust opk's in this 1st cycle. No harm in trying tho unless you've been told not to for medical reasons.
