Help with lego/duplo mini figures

I'm wanting to make a "family" frame for my fiancé using the lego/duplo mini figurines but he is with me all the time we are near shops so I can't get a good look!

I'm looking to put them inside one of those Ikea box frames.

Our family consists of:

My partner - brown hair and stubble
Myself - blonde/brown hair - I'm a teacher so if that could fit in too it would be good
Toddler girl with short blonde hair
German shepherd/collie cross dog. Similar markings to a Rottweiler so that could work too. Lop ears preferably.

Any ideas on what sort of figurines I could use or where I can buy them online?
