Help!

Hello Everyone,

My story started all Wednesday night - I had my period the first of October. I came home and I was bleeding again. I called my doctor's office Thursday morning and told them what was going on. The nurse made an appointment with my doctor and she told me to take a pregnancy test that night. So when I got home I took three and they all came up positive. So I called the doctor's office the next day and they told me to come in.

The doctor did a physical on me and said that my cervix was not "dilated". He also did an ultrasound and my uterus was empty. He wanted me to go and have a blood test to check my HCG levels. I wouldn't get the results until Monday.

So Monday afternoon I called and the nurse told me that the blood work came up positive for pregnancy. My levels were 11 which were really low. So she wanted me to come in Tuesday and get another blood test. Tuesday night I went and took another pregnancy test and this time it came up negative. \ Well, today I called thinking that my levels are back to normal and that I had miscarried and the nurse told me that my levels have raise a little bit. It's at 16 now. I am barely spotting now and it's really a brown color.

Has anyone had this happen and can anyone give me some advice on this?

Some bleeding is common in early pregnancy. I had it with my first baby and freaked out! Sometimes there is no reason for it but for you it sounds like late implantation bleeding since your numbers are low yet. Don't worry about those numbers either just yet, my second pregnancy I had low numbers and no one expected me to go full term. He's 12 now!
