help!

hey ladies. here's the deal, my boyfriend really isn't acting like he should, even though he says he's sure he wants this baby, i just need a little help.

last night he stayed round one of his friends, i was invited but was feeling too crappy, so stayed at home and had a girly night with mum. i rang him up last night to see if he was having fun and to say goodnight, and we basically got into an argument about how he wants to buy everything for the baby on his own, and he doesn't want people offering their help. i got very upset with him, as i know he would never find all that money, people are being very nice trying to help us, and he's just being so ungrateful and immature. he promised he would be back this morning. it got to 1 o clock this afternoon, and i rang him up, asked him why he wasn't back. his reply was 'oh, i decided to go fishing.' i then asked why he couldn't have contacted me, to let me know so that i wouldn't worry. he said 'oh, didn't think of that' he told me he would be home by 2. it's now half past 3 and he's turned his phone off. it's like i've taken my teenage head off, and put my mother head on.. and he's still living with his toddler head on. i understand how he feels, scared probably. but he doesn't need to take it out on me. all this stress certainly isn't good for the bub. any advice

RELAX, my FOB was the same with wanting to buy everything (its a male thing)

i think he just needs to cool down give him a few days if he dosnt give him a serius talk!!

Argh, hun, I know how you feel, and the sad truth of it is that it's mainly a man thing! I think the best thing to do would be to sit down and talk through how he's making you feel without being too confrontational, and hope that he understands and starts being more considerate. Men can be crap, but I'm sure he'll come round hun x
