sorry hun, did not want to read and run but I have no experience as this is my first. Hope all is well xx

Personally I wouldn't worry too much unless it goes on for 3 or more days but if you are at all conserned speak to your midwife as everyone is different

he has moved and kicked maybe like 2 times day .. when im used to about 20 times aday if not more, hes pretty quiet i dont wanna make a fuss if really its pretty normal :( x

Hi!

This is my first baby so I know how everything is new and everything seems like a reason to worry. My LO had two very quiet days last week and I got very scared, I always thought that as long as she had enough room, she'd be moving around plenty. But baby's around this time take long naps, no longer the little breaks of before and since I also still slept a lot it was entirely possible I just missed her. Since yesterday, she's back to doing cirque du soleil on my bladder so I consider all to be well.

The best advice I can give you is as someone said before, give your midwife or doctor a call, they'll be able to tell you more. Babies do slow down though, I'm sure your LO is fine. :flower:

if you are really worried hun, give ur midwife a ring in the morn and just let her know you are concerned, but i think it might just be a lazy baby (lol he is a male) mine too..

as long as you have felt him move recently, they say not to start counting kick until 28 or so weeks anyhow....xx

thanks alot miumiow gives me reasurance, ill see how today is and then call my midwife in the morning for advice if nothing picks up n i dont seem happy still x

I think it's pretty normal as bubs is still little enough and has enough room to move without us always feeling it. Plus they do have active days and quiet days. Which is why they say not to count kicks til 28 weeks.

If your really concerned, give you midwife a call. xx

My son didnt kick much last week infact hes a lazy baby and i was sooo worried.

Anyway i had a private scan yesterday (i had it booked ages ago not because he was being lazy lol)

and anyway my son is fine ... and today hes been so active n i can feel him sticking his head or bum out sometimes lol

if you are worried its better to be safe then sorry maybe hes having a growth spurt or just wants to be lazy lol xx

i hope so lazy boys lol! he does kick tho if provoked lol thanks alot mummy2be :D x

im going through the exact same thing but not worrrying to much as still feels early!

Thank you for posting this, for the last week bubs has been kicking the cr*p out of me and today she's had such a quiet day! I've literally felt her move/ kick twice and i've been driving myself insane...running up and down stairs then laying down, getting all fours and shaking (almost like doing doggy but with no OH ) and doing everything I can to get her to move!

It is really scary once you've started to feel bubs move then they decide to have a chill day!!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just wanted to give you a hug:hugs:.. I have had the same worry, but I am now getting to know his patterns.. He will move in the first morning, when I smell food especially what he is craving and in the evenings around 8pm.

The evening movements are the strongest, and I couldve sworn I felt his head, and when his poppa put his had on my tummy he thought he felt a knee. Finally he is able to feel the reality and participate and feel his son moving.
