Ok so Im not really sure if I posted this in the right section but I went in for my checkup today and they said on my last ultrasound they spotted a small like hemorrhage (pool of blood) around my placenta. She told me not to worry about it, they most likely dissolve on there own. Just wondring has anyone else experienced this?

Also I have a few small outbreaks of poison ivy on my arm and she told me all I can really do right now is use calamine lotion because all the other steroid treatments are high risk for pregnancys. The calamine lotion really dosent help the itch does anyone have any other advice or ideas they could offer that would be safe to help the itch?

Thank you for your help.
Kimberly

I had large pools of blood in my placenta. They are called placenta lakes and apparently aren't that rare. The further through the pregnancy you go the nore likely they are to go.

I was told at 8 weeks along that I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. It's a blood clot on the placenta, where the placenta has come away from the uterine wall. It acts like a scab. I was told no heavy lifting, and to take it easy, and by 9 weeks it was reabsorbed back into my body (meaning it healed). Hope you're doing well. xox

re the poisin ivy is it safe for you to use sudocrem? i had psoarisis when pg with no2 and the only thing that would stop my itching was sudocrem.
