Hen weekend ideas

Im getting married next June and OH is in full swing of everything being sorted for his stag do and I haven't even thought about my hen do!
I don't know what I want to do or where I want to go all I know is it will be Friday to Sunday!

So where and what did you do on your hen weekend or if you haven't had one any ideas or what other people have done?

I went to Nottingham and stayed in hotel. There was about 30 of us. We just stayed the one night and the theme was to just wear something pink.

I only had a hen night, We just went out for a meal and then got pissed, for anyone that knows Liverpool we went to Matthew street, an area we would NEVER go to normally as it's really cheesy. It was so much fun.

I've been to hen do's that were a bit like a city break, we went on a nice one to bath and then out to Bristol in the evening, one in a cottage that was alton towers in the day then drinking games in the evening, a spa day, the one I went on recently was blackpool pleasure beach and out in Blackpool at night (AMAZING!!!). Whatever you do you'll have so much fun!!!!!

I had 2 nights out, friday night in Leeds, stayed in a hotel then got the train to York and had an all day, all night session there. Pretty standard really.

But for a friend's hen do we went glamping for a weekend which was loads of fun. Definitely would recommend that

My friend had hers a weekend in Newcastle in a spa hotel - She got a package for a makeup masterclass with makeup artists and then a photoshoot together and then a mad night out (wasn't included in it) and then spa treatments the next day to help with the hangover and another night out (again not included) and everyone loved it.x

When do you want your hen do?
I went to Manchester, had a night in a hotel room on the Friday . We all dressed up and my friends had bought a casino table, drinks ect and hired naked butlers to serve us drinks all night. The second day we went and had a dance lesson, showgirl style with feathers. And hats ect matching outfits. Danced to man I feel like a woman! It all got videos and we had it played at the evening do of our wedding, the look on the girls faces .. I think they wanted the ground to swallow them up! Then we went into Manchester to a club.
Have also done a pole dancing lesson on another. Racing is good if you can get a good meet somewhere, I've done ascot for a hen do before that was good fun!

my sister recently went on a hen do they went to the races then had a night out and a lock in at a pub sounded brill id love to something like that for a hen do, or i would have a weekend away spa day then night out x

Thanks for the ideas ladies! I keep looking at things but i just have no clue i think its trying to sort the wedding and thinking ill have another baby then i just cant think . Its hard aswel because usually my MOH would be sorting it but shes had a really hard time so i dont wany to ask her ahhhh i need a kick up the bum haha

Could you not just ask you MOH for her opinions or ideas rather than asking her to do the whole thing? That way she's part of it but not burdened with the whole thing and just explain you didn't want to add more stress for her to deal with x

My oh works for an outdoor pursuits company and for my mated hen do we did a day there doing archery and raft building. (tamer stuff because i was 26 weeks pregnant and her other bridesmaid was an overweight bulldog) and then partied on the lemonade all night after! lol
