Another question in preparation for blw... can I give LO herbs - for example, if we were having some home-made curry and we had put some coriander leaves on top of ours, could LO have some coriander leaves too?

They are so thin and flat, I was wondering if they could be a choking hazard?

edited to clarify - we haven't started yet - just wondering for when we do.

I use herbs and spices in Aisling's food but I probably wouldn't put whole coriander leaves on baby's portion just because I find they stick in the back of my throat unless I chew really really well and I don't see her managing that!

Yeah, chop it up really small. Leafy foods in general like rocket and spinach leaves tend to stick to the roof of Ruby's mouth or her tongue, too.
