Heya, I'm expecting a little girl in March(my 2nd baby). Me and my fiance have a list of names we both like, but so ar none have really clicked with us. But i was recently thinking and the name Sahara popped into my head(As in the desert lol), i've never heard it used as a name before but I think it'd make a lovely girls name..... what ya'll think?! Opinions much appreicated :flower:

It's gorgeous, but I am biest as I named one of my horses Sahara ;)

i like it but i wouldnt call my baby it.....i try and think ahead to when theyr at school etc im sure they would be the odd kid who would call her desert or something instead! although this happens with soooo many names its hard to get it right as well as being unqiue

xx

I've heard of it as a name before. I think it's nice too :)

 I like it! I would pair it with a more traditional middle name though... Like Sahara Rose just to balance it!

I like it, it reminds me of my late Auntie, who used to spell my name like this for some bizarre reason..?! (my name is Sarah) :)

I used to know a little girl named Sahara. It's a pretty name! =)

I love checking names out at Nickelodeon Parents Connect (https://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/meaning_of_Sahara.html) . Sahara is not only a reference to the desert, but apparently also means “moon” in Hebrew.

If you go here (https://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/suitability_of_Sahara.html) you can check out feedback from others who have the name Sahara.

I think it sounds pretty, though she might mistakenly be called “Sarah” sometimes. However, that is just one consideration. :flower:
