hiii :) so me and my partner are TTC#1..
i had my implanon taken out a month ago & for the past week and a half iv'e been having all the symptoms of pregnancy (feeling sick & tired all the time, breasts are a little sore, bloated looking stomach, headaches). iv'e been reading some stuff on the net, and apparently these same symptoms also occur for a few months after the implant has been removed... has anyone heard anything about this? i'm seriously confused! any help would be greattt :D xx

Hay hun! I cannot help with the implant thing but your symptoms sound good :winkwink:. Are you up for taking a test to find out? xx

thankss :D i ovulated a week after having it removed. so i hope i do get lucky and get a BFP in the first month!! it would be great!!! goodluck to you to! hope everything goes well for you and you get a bun in the oven real soon! :) xxx

I got mine out 4 months ago and I had exactly the same symptoms for the first month after having it removed but then my AF arrived. I read somewhere that you can get symptoms similar to pregnancy just from the hormones settling down so I just put it down to this!

You never know though, you could be lucky and it could be pregnancy :) fingers crossed for you!

yeahh ive heard the same thing as well! its so confusing! i had my AF the day after i got it removed, which lasted 5 days (which was normal for me before the implant). its been a month and 1 week since i had my AF so i hope its pregnancy and not the affects of my implanon removal!! but the average time for conception after implanon is around 3 months apparently.. so im trying not to get my hopes up too much lol!

I got my BFP this week so it took me 5 months from getting the implant removed :) It felt like forever at the time but it was totally worth it once I saw those 2 pink lines!
