Helllooo all. I used to be a member here under the username Muffin7 but after getting a new computer i had to type in my username and password, whereas on my old computer i had it automatically saved. Grrrrr!! I couldn't for the life of me remember it. Anyway i've re-registered and i'm back with the best news ever!!! My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant pretty much since we got married almost 6 years ago, to no avail. We went to see a specialist and after tonnes of blood tests, an SA test for hubby, a horrid HSG examination and then a laparoscopy which cost me my left fallopian tube we were finally given our referral for IVF and were supposed to have our first appointment on 4th June. But as it turns out we don't need it because i'm pregnant!! Woohoo! Only just it seems, i did half a dozen cheapy tests and they all had pretty distinctive lines and then i did a couple of clearblue digital and they said "pregnant, 2-3 weeks". I really can't believe it. I'm still shocked, it feels like it's not real, like i've dreamed it or something. I know it's early and i've not been able to get into the doctors to confirm it until tuesday so i'm feeling pretty pensive at the moment. I'm soooo happy but soooo scared too that it's all gonna get snatched away from me. I was certain we were never gonna manage it without IVF after all that time of failed pregnancy test after failed pregnancy test. It was soul-destroying and i really struggled at times. I'm amazed it's happened to me and i truly hope all you ladies trying have just as much luck heading your way!!
