hi anyone tried acupuncture fertility

hi im 42yrs old have got children youngest is 4yrs old.had mc in 08 had d&c lost baby last yr at 23weeks preg due to illness .mcnov09 missed mc in marc 10 had erpc.no periods since then drs r now try to tell me like they told me in 08 .im go through early menapause but my periods were every 6wks until last erpc.see gynacolagist now as my dr refered me .he says my ovaries r not work & my fsh levels r high & estrogen levels low.he done another blood test this wk to see if fsh levels gone down.anyway im seriously think about go for acupuncture to help fertilty read it suppose to help .does anyone actually no if it does work or help u concieve.im not ready to give up hope yet .

Longshore, I'm very sorry for your losses. I don't think you should give up hope. Doctor's don't always know what they are talking about. I have been doing acupuncture for 2 years now. I've been pregnant twice though both ended in a mc. However, in my opinion, acupuncture can't hurt. While I don't know if it affects my fertility, it relaxes me like nothing else in the world. It almost feels like you've been given a dreamy drug. You aren't asleep, but aren't awake either. It is amazing. I think it is important to feel relaxed when ttc. I say go for it! It has changed my life!

I recommend accupuncture. Two long cycles...both ended in loss. I think it helped me to get a normal cycle this month. I recommend it. It will get your stagnation in tour blood flowing. In the ttc section there is a tcm thread with gals that do acupuncture
