Hi--can I round up?

Hello all!

I'm turning 35 in 34 days, and I've been mentally rounding up since I started TTC this spring. I'm only 5 weeks in, so the bulk of my pregnancy--if it even sticks--will be over age 35. OH is turning 40 soon, too. I know that much of what gets read and said in the usual pregnancy lounges doesn't really apply to senior citizens like myself, so I'd love to join my brethren in this forum, even prematurely.

So, anyone mind if I round up and join in here?

Apparently we moms over thirty five are "elderly mothers" with "geriatric pregnancies". Makes you feel great, doesn't it? Those are real medical terms.

A friend of mine was appalled to find out she got her own diagnostic code! We haven't started talking to folks about birthing options, but I know some people are told they have limited choices because we're so bloody ancient past age 35.
