Hi Everybody! Confused, Please Help!! (TMI)

Ok so I asked this question in TTC and Pregnancy Test Gallery and everyone there seems a little baffled too. I'm hoping maybe some of you girls can help me figure out what is going on. So I had my normal period on March 15th. About 7 days after I stopped bleeding, I began having a brown discharge and old blood, which lasted for 5 days. It wasn't very heavy, usually only when I wiped. According to the 14 day average I would have ovulated around the time I had this "2nd period" but was unable to check my CM to be sure. My cyles are always 28-29 days, so I assumed that (CD1 being March 15th) I should have started AF on March 11th. I still have no sign of AF so I went in for a blood test which came back with an HcG count of 0. The only thing I can think of is that the "2nd period" restarted my cycle, making AF now due on March 25th. That would make ovulation around the 11th, but I've had no EWCM at all in the last 2 weeks. Has anyone ever had an experience similiar to this? If so, what was the outcome? Thank you so much in advance ladies!!

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this but then again, I just happened to be browsing and found it!

I had something very similar. I got a normal period, and then the day of ovulation (I was taking temps and using a OPK) I had a 'mini period' which lasted for 3 days (it started out brown but turned bright red, and lasted for about 3 days). It was the first time I'd ever experienced it and I also tried asking around and people just told me "you probably miscarried" (but I didn't even know whether I was pregnant at the time!)

When I took a pregnancy test at 14 DPO (so about 14 days after I started bleeding for the second time) I got a BFP. Took another one 3 days later to confirm... then 5 days later again, just to be sure And here I am, 30 weeks later and things are still fine!

I would definitely recommend in getting some OPK's. I bought mine on amazon.com (they were really cheap-- a pack of 40 for like $10) which really help me figure out when I ovulated, despite the bleeding!

If I don't get a BFP this month, I am so gonna get some of those OPK's! lol At least that way i would know for sure if I ovulated/when etc. Thank you for replying!
