Hi all

Thought I would say hi on this section as I only found out it existed last night. I don't know if I am 'eligble' to post here as I am not ttc for myself but for someone else. It is my first time as a surrogate, and our second month ttc. Last month I was so excited for my couple as I was 4 days late for af but it wasn't to be.

I am now in my 2ww (10dpo now) and of course have taken a million pointless tests lol I don't see any real lines when I look at them but there are hairline lines on the tests when I put them on the lappy and invert the colours soooo you never know, this month might just be our month.

Good luck to everyone else ttc. I am now going to look at some other threads

Hi and thanks for the welcome. Well I tested today (10dpo) with a brand called 'answer' as that is all my chemist had. Anyway it was BFN. Is anyone familiar with these tests, are they sensitive? I have a feeling it's gonna be a BFN this month :/ But theres always next month I suppose

Oh blimey, I just googled it and it says it measures 100miu of HCG.....so that's NOT sensitive I take it??

Hi everyone

I lost this thread so haven't been able to update it - just found out how to search for my own threads lol

Well I am now on my 3rd 2WW for my couple. This month we did things a bit different so I am hoping it has made our chances higher! Usually we do insems 40 mins after he has produced his sample as that is how long it takes for them to get to me. This month we did one insem at their house so it was fresher. I also used preseed with 2 insems, one with out. One with just the instead cup, one without and one with syringe then instead so I FINGERS CROSSED it will all have made a difference.

As it stands I am 10dpo and have been feeling very period like for the last couple of days, like a dead leg feeling in the tops of my legs and a dull ache in my tummy so I am hoping that is a good sign. I have held off testing at all this month because it was just getting silly lol I am going to probably test on Tuesday or Wednesday!

OMG OMG OMG!

Well, I walked past the chemist when I was doing the school run and I just coudn't resist going on and came out with the only tests they have which are Reveal.

I know I am expecting a lot from my wee that time of day and I am not sure how sensitive Reveal are but I took a test. And I saw a line....

I rang my friend and she came round and also saw a line. It is so faint, can't even get a pic from my phone of it but it is the same thickness as the test line. Anyway, she went off and is coming back in a few hours with either a Boots or a Tesco test (one of our friends has some tests left over but we're not sure which brand they are yet). Well, I had just had a coffee so needed a wee and thought what the heck, I'll waste this other test now seeing as I am doing one later too. And it has the SAME LINE!!! It can't be 2 wrong tests surely? I so wish I could get a picture of them but I can't. I took them to my neighbour (lol) and he could see them. Then I took them to an elderly neighbour of mine LOL and she too could see them but she said they were very very faint (I didn't go into the ins and outs of the fact that I am 10dpo and what it meant lol

What do you reckon Girls? Could this be it?? Does it sound hopeful??? I am so excited but so scared incase later on's test is BFN!
