Hi Girls, advice for a friend

Hi girls :wave:

I don't usually come in here and to be perfectly honest I don't understand a lot of what you talk about, the abbreviations and stuff

Now you can tell me to bog off if you like and I won't be offended

A friend contacted me today and she knows I am on this forum so asked me about egg sharing, now I don't know anything about this but thought some of you girls would do.

She has been TTC for a very long time and I know she has had some treatment but I can't rember what it was off the top of my head.

She is a member on here but hasn't ever posted or even looked since she joined, she really doesn't know what fab support and advice she is missing from you girls.

Any advice you could give me to pass on would be very much appreciated.

I'm not really too sure about egg sharing but I know there are some clinics in London that offer free or discounted IVF if you will share some of your eggs with someone who needs donor eggs. Sorry don't know a lot, you tend to see these adverts in magazines such as Cosmopolitian so I would guess if she is looking to get into a programme because she needs some eggs she could contact one of these if that makes sense?! Sorry but I hope that helps a little, I'm sure some of the other ladies round here will be able to help more. Wish your friend good luck from me x

Hey

I know that the Lister in London offer egg donation - you have to undergo tests 3 months apart to qualify and produce at least 10 eggs to participate in the scheme but in return you get a free IVF cycle - you have to pay for ICSI and freezing if that's what you need xx
