I just got my :bfp: yesterday am and this am. I am going to the dr's office tomorrow for hcg and prog blood draw (since I'm high risk dr said to call as soon as I got my bfp). Praying for good news from that! Here is a quick brief rundown on my history in case signatures don't show up here...
mmc in June of 2010, mc Oct. 2013, mmc March 2014

So needless to say I'm about as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. :dohh: But since my test line showed up this morning before the control line and is already a little darker than the control line, I have to believe that that's a good thing this early on. [-o< By my chart and my OV date (which was cd 12), I am 4 weeks and 4 days today and my EDD should be April 15th. I'm trying to stay confident since my BFP is such a strong one but naturally I cant help but be a little scared and nervous. Anyways, that's about enough about me for now. I look forward to getting to know you ladies, too! Anyone else in my boat with an EDD around the same time as me?

Hello prayingpixie,
Congrats on your current pregnancy!
My EDD is also the 14/15 April! ( according to some of those due date calculators!)
I am 5 weeks today and so scared about what will happen this time! I had a miscarriage in sept 13 and march14 at 5 and approx 10.5 weeks!

When will you have your first scan? I am booked in for 27th August! I have no pregnancy symptoms and as the Drs haven't done bloods so will have no idea how it's going until then!

Can I ask....do your symptoms vary with your pregnancies? Ie did you get any more or less with your daughter then the other pregnancies?

Wishing u a happy and healthy pregnancy
Laura x:flower:

Hi PrayingPixie, I think we were on the November thread together. Congratulations on your BFP, I got mine today.

Thanks Ladies! :flower: Congrats on your BFPs too! :happydance: Button, I think we did go through the march mcs together. So it's neat that we are both here together again now. Hopefully healthy sticky beans for all of us this time around! :hugs:
Laura, I never said anything about a daughter.

Yes, my symptoms have varied between pregnancies but I think I find the most consistent early pg sign to be hunger, cravings, and aversions. Then fatigue and peeing more.
I just got off the phone with the dr's office a few mins ago and she said my hcg is 542 and my prog is 42 all of which is good but we have wait and see what tomorrow's draw will show to have something to compare it to to make sure all is going well. So while I'm happy that my hcg is already in the 500 range, I'm also nervous for tomorrow's draw and what that will bring. Those results will be in on Thursday and my dr will be in that office that day too when those results come in so it's good to know that if he wants to see me for any reason the timing will be good. Let's just hope that there is no NEED to see me for any BAD reason and pray that my next hcg will be GOOD!! [-o< I don't know about any of you ladies, but I am a christian so I am choosing to trust God that he's in control. But if you don't believe then that's ok. I really dont want to offend anyone! I just want to make friends to both lean on and for me to help out as well. :hugs:

Sorry praying pixie, I must have literally looked at someone else's signature just before replying to you! :dohh::dohh::dohh:

So glad to hear about your HCG and progesterone! Will keep my fingers crossed for your next levels!!!
Iv been so so tired today and suddenly got cold like symptoms! Maybe it's the progesterone I'm on! It seems like the days are dragging by so slowly now I'm waiting for the scan!
Certainly no offence taken re the religion. I often wish I was more religious as I guess sometimes it can be a comfort!

Good luck tomorrow (and Thurs for the results!) let us know how you get on!
Take care

That's ok! Mix ups happen! :flower:

Ugh I'm so nervous about today's blood draw. Well actually I'm not nervous about the blood draw itself, just about the numbers. At moments I feel so so tired and prego but at others I find myself checking to see if I'm still peeing more, if I'm still hungry more, etc. :dohh: Ugh! I know it's early days but geez I hate this part where you don't have a lot of symptoms and with ladies like us who have been through mcs/mmcs it's so hard to figure out if it's just the hcg starting out or if its early mc. Please pray for me and this bean. [-o< I'll be so crushed if we lose this one, too.

I hope you're having a better day than I am! <3

Hey prayingpixie, sorry today has been tough on you!:sad1:
Hopefully tomorrow you will get the results that can give you some reassurance. Your bound to be feeling extra anxious today with that looming over you! I guess all you can do is keep busy or Sometimes i try reading some positive affirmations (there are lots on the Internet!)

I was reading how much the risk of miscarriage decreases with each week and trying to take solace in that ( even though iv had miscarriage after seeing a heartbeat!) but every day and week that passes we are one step closer!!! I totally understand your feelings about symptoms, I don't feel any symptoms today whereas yesterday I did feel really really hungry! I always pee lots as I'm diabetic! I haven't had any bloods done but have done a couple of those clearblue tests with weeks indicator, got 3 + today so now there is nothing more I can do until the scan!

So good luck for tomorrow, I will be thinking of you! sending :hugs: stay strong!
Laura x

Awww thank you so much! :hugs: It seems that my symptoms have increased a little bit as the day has worn on. :dohh: :haha: I've peed 5-6 times now today, been pretty hungry, and now im craving a banana shake lol! Also, a few mins ago I sneezed, stood up to get tissue to blow my nose with, sneezed again, and felt round ligament pulling pains on the sides of my abdomen. So that has to be a good sign? I hope!

I too have lost a baby after seeing a hb. The mmc in March was exactly that. We had a good strong hb of 168 at 7 weeks and then bam, at 8 weeks 3 days, nothing. Baby had grown exactly the right amount for the gestation and nothing else seemingly wrong but no hb. DH and I were devastated. It was so shocking as I thought that once you see a hb the chance of mc drops to like 5% or something so it was really hard to accept and deal with and ended up having a d&c. I wanted them to be able to run tests to see if they could determine a cause of demise but they couldn't find anything wrong from the tests. They said the baby was a completely genetically normal female. :( No chromosome errors or anything! Which honestly made it all the harder to deal with that it seemed to happen for no reason.

This time the dr has me on baby aspirin daily so hopefully that will help in case a little blood clot got in the way and cut off blood and nutrient supply to the baby last time. And he has me supp'ing again with prog since I am deficient which we know from tests he's ran on me. So we're praying that with those measures in place, all will go well this time around. I pray it goes well for you, too! You're right, another week gone, is a little closer to everything being fine. Thanks for reminding me of that. :flower: I guess it's just that with me still being SO early on that it's harder and really scary and stressful but I'm trying hard to not stress. I'm spending time in prayer each day now and praying for his peace. Take care and I'll update again tomorrow after I get my results. :hugs: Hopefully it will be with good news! :flow:

Hey that's so funny you just said about the pains in ur abdomen. I just wrote/replied to someone on the first trimester board about pains. I sneezed yesterday and WOW felt like I pulled all the muscles in my sides!

So sorry about the loss of your baby girl. We heard the heartbeat at around 8 weeks too but they had kept asking me for a scan every 10 days and we're telling me my dates were wrong when I knew exactly when we had conceived! Harder for you with not finding a reason why though!

I am also taking baby Aspirin ( although it's just something iv prescribed myself!) and obviously the progesterone too!

Anyway by the time you read this you will hopefully have some really good positive news to tell so won't dwell on the past!

Take care and looking forward to your news,
Ps I will friend request you!
X

Yes, I do have good news! :) HCG was 1,112!! :yipee: They've booked me in for new ob appt in 2 weeks (ugh gonna be a long 2 weeks) which includes exam and ultrasound! :happydance: Now to get through the next 2 weeks...oh boy! I might have to stock up on tests so I can poas to keep myself reassured in the meantime! :haha:

I hope you are well today and I'm sorry you've had to experience the same pain as me. :( Let's pray though that this is our take home rainbow baby for both of us! :hugs: Have a great day today and I accepted your FR! :flower:

That's so fantastic! :happydance::thumbup::flower::cloud9::headspin::wohoo::wohoo:
So pleased for you! It must have been such a load of your mind!
Yes I'm sure the next 2 weeks will drag a bit but right now there is no reason to believe that this isn't your rainbow baby!
So your appt must be around the same time as mine! We can be nervous together!
Enjoy your evening and let yourself relax now! X

Thanks! :flower: Now I'm fretting because I was so hungry yesterday and now hardly at all today! :dohh: Here I go again! Have you had this happen too? With the on and off appetite?
