Hi there - Very excited 6 1/2 weeks..looking for buddies!!

Hi there,
I'm 36 and I found out couple of weeks ago that I'm pregnant (now 6 1/2 weeks). We are so excited but i'm equally worried that the little pinto bean sized thing isn't going to stay.

Three months ago, my boyfriend and I decided we were going to try and so I got my self into gear. I began noting dates, purchased ovulation kits and the works...all in preparation for it to take months. I had convinced myself that it would take sometime as some of my friends had taken a while. I am 36 and my boyfiend is 41. We got back from a weeks holiday and i found out the day i went back to work that i was pregnant. Couldn't believe it! We were very suprised and very over the moon! I must have spent near on £100 on pregnancy tests over the last 2 weeks, checking that i am pregnant still!

In week 5 I had sore & enlarged breasts, had constant ache in my lower back and felt like I had such bad PMT that BF was walking on egg shell. all due to hormones I think. Now, my breasts still large and sensitive if squeezed, the toilet and i are becoming great friends and all i think about all day is going to bed! (To sleep that is!) But i don't have any other symptoms.. no sickness, no cravings. I wish i could speed up time and it to be week 12 so it is more safe and I can tell everyone!

I would love to be in touch with ladies in my boat! Be great to meet some new friends.

Make room for me in your boat! I am 36 too and I think I am about 6 weeks along...although I'm not sure becuase I can't remember when my last period was. Pretty sure it was the beginning of June though.
My breasts have been so tender, it feels like someone punched me square in the center! I feel a little nausious, but haven't had any cravings or vomiting.
Im going to the doctor in 2 hours so hopefully we can figure out a due date.

Did you go to the doctor and confirm how far gone you are? All good? When do you have your first scan? I've got my first apt with doc next week, hoping i don't have to wait too long for a scan.

I'm pretty sure i'm 7 weeks, still don't feel anything other than tired, and tender boobs. My waist band does feel a little tight but given its the size of a grape right now, i think thats food and not baby!
