im just curious...

mt doc told me i was at high of highblood pressure. so i just wondered other than a doctor visit how can we tell our selves if our blood pressure is up??? is there any symptoms???

You could buy a BP monitor - you can test it once a day then. My BP is also high, and am on meds for it. I see doc weekly so havent bothered buying one. I dont think there are any symptoms. x

Hey, I had high blood pressure at the end and even started developing pre eclampsia and I had no idea that I was having that until the midwife checked my bp and my urine and when there was proteine in it, I got sent to hospital and 2 days later I got induced. I kept the high blood pressure until a week and a half a go (so nearly 3 months in total) and I could not really feel any difference. I think that is why you get checked a bit more at the end of pregnancy because you cannot really feel it.

Bad headache, feeling dizzy and blurry vision can indicate high BP.

If you do buy yourself a monitor, be careful about using it too much as that can cause your BP to go up too.
