Bit of a long shot this but do any of you find that your baby's sleep is affected by what you've eaten in the day?! Even though I always eat 3 meals a day I don't always eat huge amounts, and somehow am now almost a stone lighter than before I got pregnant :saywhat:

Poppy still wakes for feeds every 3 to 4 hours but around christmas, when I was eating LOADS of food, she seemed to sleep for longer. So do I have an excuse to eat double portions of food every day or what ? :)

Never really thought about this. Do you mean, if you eat rich foods these may cause the milk to be richer and therefore it may lay heavier on Poppy's tummy?

Never noticed this, sorry!

I am convinced that fresh air (big walk in the pram with the hood down) tired my baby out and made him sleep longer up til about 5 months old... if you did a really big walk maybe you could have double portions then????

I guess so

I know one day me and my hub shared a massive Christmas Pud for dessert and Poppy slept for 6 hours that night :)

Probably just wishful thinking on my part!

Well, I have had steak and kidney pie for tea, followed by a vanilla slice...I'll let you know if it works tomorrow. Good excuse to pig out though
