Hi you might not know me but i was on here last year & had a little boy i'm now back expecting my 2nd & i've been told that i gave high hgc levels which is making me expierence extremely bad morning sickness so bad that i've been admitted to hospital twice because of dehydration within the last 3weeks & put on a drip i was just wondering if any1 else had experienced anything like that & was wondering how long you suffered for or what helped you out

OHMYGOD!! Congrats on your second hun!! Sorry no advice I thought I recognised the username and I do :)

How many weeks are you and have you ha a scan yet as i ha exactly what your having and my hcg was very high last year and it turned out to be a molar pregnancy , you Should be ok tho hun xx

Congratulations on your second!!! I have heard high hcg can mean multiples so maybe get that looked into good luck

I think i've already said congrats. But congrats again! How far along are you now?
I really hope you feel better soon. :hugs:

Thanks for the congrats girls i'm about 12 + 2 now i had a scan when i got admitted into hospital the first time & there was only 1 baby so i saw but i am having my normal 12 week scan tomorrow i've been admitted into hospital for a 3rd time so hopefully this will be the last time as they keep telling me it should calm down when i get to 12 weeks so i'll just have to wait & c

Also forgot to add that when the scan was done i got told that everything seemed normal

By 14 weeks I think it'll be gone. With my first I had throwing up and major fatigue but nothing to go to the hospital about. It usually ends around 12-16 weeks for most people.

congrats again girlieee :flower: hows your lil boy doin bet his not so lil anymore haha .

my cousin went thru the extreme sickness with her second & got medicine to calm it down ..

I had very high hCG levels also but there's only one bub and he/she is very healthy. I only had morning sickness when I was 4-6 weeks and after that I was just dead exhausted ALL the time. It's passed now and I feel a heap better. Hope you do soon too :flower:

Npe his defo not lil anymore but he keeps me on my toes with all his crawling about & tryna stand up hos just all over the place now lol hows ur lil girl doing & i've been given 3 sets of tablets so far that haven't worked lets just hope that the ones they give me this time do work

I had high HCG levels at the start of my pregnancy (previous miscarraige so were monitoring my levels)
I had terrible morning sickness which started at 5 weeks and I still have little bit now.
I was put on anti nausea medication at 7 weeks as I wasn't keeping anything down for 48hrs+. I was still nauseaus/vomiting but reduced a lot compared with without the medication. I lost about 20kg between 7weeks pregnant and 17weeks pregnant, when I started to stop vomiting with just a bit of nausea. I weaned myself off the anti-nausea medication at about 22 weeks and am only sick every three or four days now, with minimal nausea.
Obviously the Anti Nausea Meds worked wonders, was still ill but not as bad as I could've been. Other things that helped were small plain snacks often, fresh food instead of junk, sour food/drink helped me heaps, and when I was particularly nauseas fizzy drink and/or an icy pole to suck on helped a lot!!
Hope you arent too bad and it either dies down soon or your doc/midwife can get you on maxalon or similar soon!! xxx

I've been put on stronger tablets can't remember how to spell the name of it but hopefully this should help also had my scan done & everythings fine with baby & i'm actually 11+6 weeks & also there's defo only 1 baby

Oh wow congrats on your second! Sorry no advise though :flower:
