High rising hcg

Has anyone had high rising hcg and just had one baby. I had beta hcg for reassurance after a previous miscarriage and now I’m freaking out for other reason.

At 18DPO it was 1251
At 20 DPO it was 3581

My doctor said after 1200 they’d expect a rise of 63%. My rise is 150% as the tests were 45hours apart! I’m now freaking out as doctor hinted that sometimes fast rising hcg is a sign of twins.

Just wanted to get other people’s experience!

I didn't want to read and run but I really don't have any experience because I don't get Bloods done until the dating ultrasound. Good luck though!

@Kiwiberry thanks - here’s hoping it can be determined at my early private scan at 6+2 will mention the doctor comment when I go and make sure they have an extra extra good look!
