highchair!

Well my little one used to be a good eater, sitting fine in her highchair, however recently she's arching her back, not wanting to sit in the highchair and crying! She's gone off her food slightly however always seems to eat when she's with other people???
Any advice? She's 1 year old and not teething.

i think personally she's testing you, try make meal times as fun as you can and try and ignore the arching her back etc, if she does it a few times and you take her out she'll soon grasp the idea what to do to get out of sitting in there.

put lots of interesting things for her to play with not nesscarily food maybe some crayons and a piece of paper and make a fuss with her for 5 mins or so then take her out, and maybe put her in there now and again to colour with for ten mins at a time. try not to get into a battle with her as she'll see it as a punishment.

1 yr olds want to be off playing most the time so thats probably what she's wanting to do maybe
