So I sent the form off this morning all signed and done and everything. How long should I expect it to take xxx

normaly takes a few weeks but depends on how much back log they hav. u'll find the money in ur bank b4 u get a letter......i did lol

i posted mine last wednesday and still nothing, but I didnt expect it anyway!

Apparently its around 10 working days x

One thing I've learnt from gov. authorities giving you money (student loans/any kind of benefits/grants etc..).. NEVER rely on it being on time I hate to know how people cope when they actually NEED the benefits and stuff they are applying for!! Like when my Dad passed away we qualified for help with funeral costs cos he had no life insurance and they finally paid out about 2 months AFTER the funeral! Good job mum had the ££££s to pay it in the first place

I'm getting my form tomorrow it varies on how long it takes but the longest it can take is 4 weeks (its written somewhere on the form I've heard or somewhere similar lol ) eeeek I hope it doesn't take that long!!!!

Have you tried chasing it up hun?! Seems everyone else got theres quite quick so maybe they've forgotten you or something (not even joking they did this with my mum when she started claiming carer's allowance for looking after my nan.. they literally just 'forgot' to print out her stuff and so no one ever looked at it ) x
