Hisband on citalopram, me potentially hypothyroid?

Does anyone know if hb on citalopram impacts sperm quality?

Or if there's truth to the idea that hypothyroid causes miscarriage?

It's all making me feel a bit like maybe we're too old and broken to ttc #2

My LO was conceived when my OH was on citalopram. It was our first month not actively preventing.

Hypothyroidism is known to cause mc, but if it is controlled then the risk decreases.

I had 2 mmc and an ectopic pregnancy, we were both between the ages of 21 and 25 for all our losses, of a healthy weight etc. The losses all occurred before citalopram, our rainbow was conceived on citalopram.

There is sometimes no rhyme or reason to have losses, but you will never know til you try!

My partner is on a low dose of citalopram. His SA was great. In higher doses citalopram can impact the ability to get an erection and sexual desire, just something to look out for!
