HiYa:) Do most people usually begin testing for pregnancy 8DPO?

cjones- i know what you mean. I have one test left and I begged david to let me take it this morning. He doesnt want to see my face when its a so he's making me wait one more day. the day that AF is supposed to be here. I have no symptoms or her coming or anything else for that matter. all of my symptoms disappeared 5 days ago.

currently 13dpo today. Although once again ff changed my O day which doesnt make sense since I have been having symptoms since the 10th. Was very crampy this weekend and almost threw up sat morning. I am swollen down below. Anyone know if that is a prego sign. I just very emotional right now. AF should be here tomorrow.

Me and DH have decided to try the SMEP next month its supposed to have quite a high success rate hope the next 7 days go fast so we can get on with it

My understanding is that it's quite inaccurate either way to test too early - i think waiting until AF is late is a good starting point. surely getting a BFP and getting excited, then it turns out to not be a pregnancy is the worst outcome?

False positives are rare. Unless it's an evap line and the test is being interpreted wrong. The most likely case if a BFP is noted, followed by AF, would then be that it was a chemical pregnancy or early miscarriage, which is important info to have because if it keeps happening it could be the first signs to infertility issues. And I speak only for myself, but I'd much rather know NOW that something is wrong than waiting a year of trying unsuccessfully...

I am 8dpo today, and am REALLY trying not to test until NEXT Friday....we decided to wait until I get to a week late this time...not likely I'll be able to wait tho!
