hmm to wax or not to wax...??

Just wanted to add that I am a complete Brazilian advocate!!! My beautician calls hers a 'Radical' Brazillian' which is where they take off everything underneath, bum and lips as cupcake was expecting.

Sorry you have had a bad experience hun but don't let it put you off... my wax costs me £24 (for the radical) but she does regular brazilians for £16 (which is just the sides) Perhaps they call it different things in different salons so 'Barbie' assumed you wanted the regular Brazilian. All very confusing lol But for £15 I would not expect a full braz as it takes my beutician a good 45 mins (granted she does talk ALOT!!!) hehe

My brazillian is only £15 and she spent an hour taking everything off, just a tiny tuft left on top and a really neat strip on my lips.

I'm not gonna lie it's not pain free and I have found it to be more painful since i've been pregnant but it's so worth it!

If you've never had one before, just explain to the beautician and if you find it too painful they'll just stop.

I have my legs, lady bits and eyebrows done but i'm too chicken to have my underarm's done

Bearable. It hurts when they first rip off the wax, but it's gone again quick, so it's like 5 seconds of pain every now and again. I'm such a wimp and I can deal with it, so go for it!!

You MUST make sure theyuse the wax that they put stright onto your skin, that dires on your skin and they then rip it off. The idea of havinf foof waxed with the more traditional leg wax/strip method would hurt a lot more I think!!

I don't think you have, this is the cheapest I've ever found it and I think it's because it's a lady on her own and not in a salon. I used to pay around £28/£35 when I lived in Sheffield depending on what I got!!!

i didn't even know u could get waxed while u were pregnant, thought it was dangerous??
it's a big relieve to be honest i've been getting my other half to shave mine as i can't see it ha ha, but i'll feel much better and safer letting a women do it ha ha!!!

I decided to shave it all off last night after our convo. Think I might be too chicken for waxing and also I figure that whilst I can still just about reach to get rid, it will be easier to keep it sorted over the next few weeks until bean makes his appearance!! x

I get one every 5 weeks hon, there is NOTHING like the nice clean feeling after - you couldn't pay me to shave anymore! And its def no worse than a gyno visit They are really professional, just another body part iykwim
I have one booked for next Wednesday, surely the last before lo arrives. Think my doc appreciated it at Lindsey's delivery too!!

im definatl considering having one done in a few weeks when shaving gets too awkward as i must admit im not a fan of hair down there lol.
