My little boy is two and still in nappies. Sometimes when I change his bum, his winkle is hard, or he'll fiddle with it until it is

I always carry on as normal, I mean, its what is normal right. Yesterday though, he stuck his finger up his bum and his winkle went hard immediately and he laughed his little socks off...unfortunately I couldn't help but chuckle. It really amused him I don't know where he's learnt it from (if he has) and think he's just experimenting but he's done it a fair few times while changing his bum today.

I've ignored him today but he's going to stop at his Nans (MIL) tomorrow...would you mention it?

Lool bless him! i wouldnt worry.. or mension it, if she says she done it ask her "where has he learnt that" just make the most of him being happy while ya change his bum, some hate having it done

When I put Albert down to sleep he rolls onto his tummy and does what I can only refer to as 'humping the mattress'

I think it's all pretty normal so I wouldn't mention it!

It's worrying enough that his fingers go straight into his mouth if I'm not quick. I thought it was bad now, but clearly it's only gonna get worse lol!

I think all little boys are obsessed with pulling, stretching and yanking their willy.

Els also pokes his bum It makes me boil with anger inside as it makes me feel quite sick! When he does it I calmly move his hand away and tell him to stop. He's so persistent though. His hands quite regularly go straight to his mouth too

It's frustrating isn't it?!!!

He took a liking the other day to tell me it was poorly and did I want to touch it? Bearing in mind it was all hard and he was squeezing it. He wears a nappy usually but we're trying to encourage him to use the potty, hence the constant winkle attraction

I'm worrying that we'll never get him out of nappies for shame of his obsession!!

Oliver pulls his and plays with it and calls it his wiggle wiggle. if he comes in the shower with me he goes mummy no wiggle wiggle and then when he is in the shower with OH he goes daddy wiggle wiggle and tries to play with it. I find it wrong but HV said its normal lol

the reason hes probarly so interested in it is because its not accessible when he has a nappy on. have you tried just letting him have a few hours every now and then with no nappy on?

my son was penis mad at first too but the novelty wears off. I think the hardness is just an involuntary action... my son (who is nearly always walking round naked!) gets hard if something makes him laugh, when hes excited... even when hes playign with cars.

Sorry but this had me chuckling so much. Lucas does it too and its natural for them to get erections at this age. He doesnt stick his finger up his bum thankfully. I am struggling to get him to learn new words but only had to say widgy to him once and he says it everytime he holds his willy now and he saw me naked and pointed at me so I said boobies and now he grabs my chest and says boobies! Trust him to pick these 2 words up after only hearing them once!
