Hi, has anyone got any suggestions for

1) essentials to take on a beach holiday
2) making a long haul flight bearable

For a 5 month old? We are off to Thailand st the end of the month, can't wait but a bit anxious too!

Thank you

We were in Menorca in June when LO was 7 months.

The best holiday things we took for Sam were UV swimsuit with hat, baby swim ring, travel steriliser bags, lightweight sleeping bag and a parasol for the buggy (and some Ella's Kitchen puches but probably not an issue at 5 months). Oh and calpol, just in case - Sam picked our week away as the perfect time to get his first 4 teeth!

Flight was short so can't really compare but it was something I worried about. I find flying suits Sam down to the ground - he gets to eat loads (bottle on way up and down for his ears, plus gave him breakfast in between) and he's right there on Mummy and Daddy's laps getting love, attention and cuddles the whole time! Lots of little toys are great too and any aids he needs to nap (dummy, blanket etc) - even on you.

Hope you have an amazing time!
