Hi guys,
We are going to the holiday village in Rhodes in 3 weeks with my almost 2 year old, in-laws and nephews. Was just wondering if anyone has been and can recommend it?

Also will it still be warm mid October in Greece?

Not terribly helpful but I went to the Holiday village in lanzarote (flamingo beach) back in june and it was fab!! A little bit brit abroad towards the end but it was getting towards peak season and there were far too many kids there who should have been in school (just my opinion, nobody take offence!!). The staff and food were amazing and the rooms great, loads to do and see. Hope you have a fab time xx

Is it with first choice?

If so, never been to the Rhodes one, but we went to the one in Tunisia and it was incredible. So much for kids to do. Evening entertainment was great. Good choice of food (standard spag bol every evening as well just in case of fussy eaters).

I have friends who have just come back from Mykonos (an Island just off Greece) and it was beautifully sunny. Can't say what it was like on the Mainland though.

Yep we are going with first choice. Am just hoping it'll be warm and the food will be ok for my incredibly picky eater!

Hiya

We went in June this year, my daughter was 20 months at the time and absolutely loved it. She was a little fish in the water, we stayed in the deluxe area so we had the separate dining room, but we also used the main one. Plenty of choice especially at breakfast. You can get things like apple juice at the pool side bars too, which is brilliant.

The activities side has plenty going on with water slides for younger children, which my daughter loved. The evening shows are ok if you're an adult, but the kids love them, prepare to be singing and dancing to the chocolate song!

We would definitely go back, but would choose different flight times, due to being asked to check out at 12 noon on the Saturday when we didn't fly until 04:20am on the Sunday. We did complain quite heavily and they let us change rooms so that we could get some sleep before we left, we felt we had been cheated out of a night as we had only had 13 not 14, so they waived the fee to keep to room on / change rooms. That being sorted, we still had to be picked up from the hotel at 2:00am and had a horrific coach journey with numerous pick ups on the way to the airport, it was all stop, start and very hot, which made my poor daughter physically sick all over us.

So great place, not sure what the weather will be like in October, but should be a lot better than here. Check flight times, check out times and pick up times before you go to make provisions and avoid disappointment on your holiday.

Have a lovely time xx

We are staying in the relax area in a swim up room. However I think we will be over in the activities part most of the time. Our check outs aren't too bad we fly at 8.30pm but we have kept one room on out of 3 so there will be somewhere for us to get showered and changed.

You have put my mind at ease as I was worried if my daughter would enjoy it bit it sounds like she will thank you :) x
