Holy rant.

Our freaking basement is flooded like almost ancle deep. And they have health inspectors going around our complex checking for black mold They might be shutting down the whole complex which is over 200 suits, if they find the mold in a percentage of them. This is just stressing me out, we dont have anywhere to stay if this happens, i mean we have family but its just awkward. And there just isnt enough space. Im so angry everything in our basement is wet, we have clothes down there, and boxs and baby clothes i had packed away since there to small for Taye and now its all soaked. Our washer and dryer dont work here so we are going to have to go waste another 50 bucks at the laundry mat, which is even more stressful because we are trying to save money and our landlords wont repay us for it, because apparently it says in our lease that the basements flood which i never seen or read in there, i mean we went over it and i still cant find where its says that.

Oh and the best part we pay 950 a month which is rediculous, but they are bumping our rent up to 1050 on the first of september, which means they are breaking our lease. Its already stupid how much we pay and they want more, they are usless here and do nothing, you call them for repairs and it takes them 2 weeks to have someone come and fix it omg im so pissy right now. I just want to freak out on them.

sorry rant over just so mad that they are so stupid here, i want to move far away from this stupid city.

Its rediculious simply cause both our parents own thier houses and pay under 950 for their morgages. If they increase our rent were just going to move i think, we will try and find someone more affordable. We live in a nice place, its a 3 story townhouse with 3 bedrooms. And i dont want to move cause i love it here, i just can stand to pay this much a month, i mean we might aswell just buy a house.

Maybe ask them to point out where it says that about the basement? Could they be lying? And is it legal to break a lease, or would it just mean that you have the right to leave without any penalty because they broke the terms of it?

I havent had anyone return my calls, but im pretty positive they cant break our lease because that would mean our lease in n/a, which is fine cause our lease is up oct 1st and we were planning on moving anyways.

That's totally ridiculous (your landlord and the cost.) I hope things turn out better for you guys! Have they found any black mold yet?

They havent been in our house yet, im guessing they havent found any i just heard from a neibour that they were doing inspections, i guess not. Oh well hopefully that means we dont have to find somewere to stay.
