Home today - Maybe

I'm a lil pift we were told Megan could come home today after her last anti-b assuming shes ok! She is ok shes done really well and responded to the anti-bs quickly meaning shes actually been off all monitoring for a couple of days too so didn't think there would be a problem until last night the nurse said "oh it may be 24 hours AFTER her last one" meaning Tuesday! Talk about pulling out my heart - I'd got it into my head she'd be home today NOT reaching that ONE WEEK old in hospital and now I'm told this if she was poorly yes I'd agree but shes defo ready to come back.

So I rang just now and she said it always depends WHO will be the one to do her final check (on rounds now) one big doc may say yes another no. FFs what kind of running is that?

Sat here hoping its the doc that seen her in the first place and told us that she could come home today!

We found exactly the same thing in respect to it depends on the doctor who is doing the discharging round. In the end we got home 6 hrs before he'd be a wk old!
