Hopefully this is the right place- renting a room to my OHs sister?

Hey everyone,

Me and my OH have recently got our own place. His sister has fallen out big time with his mum again and she doesn't want to go back there so we were thinking of renting out our spare room? We own it on a mortgage, is there anyone we need to tell? Or can we just collect the rent from her? We have agreed she will pay us £70 a week and a share of the bills.

She is staying at her boyfriends at the moment but will want to move in this weekend.

Only the council tax people. It probably wont change things anyway, but she should be on there.
