horrible boss....

OH has been doing some agency work. He was meant to be on assignment today. Left our house to do a 15 minute drive at 8:20. His start time wAs 9. I received a phone call at 9"10 asking where OH is as he hasn't shown up. I explained he left at 8:20. I was worrying like mad. Then the horrible man decided to slag me and OH off saying I needed a rocket up my arse coz I should be making him go to work and that he was going be a crap dad coz he cant provide, that he was a waste of space, a letdown and a pathetic person. He said all that to me over the phone reducing me to tears. After every insult I kept saying 'hmm, rite or ok" I was too shocked to hang up the phone. after he spoke to me, he text OH and told him to come home. OH came home and found me still in tears. I refused to tell him what had been said. His boss then rung him and OH spoke to him said he wasn't happy he had reduced me to tears...but then got told by his boss that I'd agreed with everything that was said! I told OH that just coz I'd said "hmmm ok or rite" doesn't mean I agreed...just that I was too shocked to say anything else!

Ok, so where do I stand with this...I've emailed the agencies head office and they emailed me back saying they were looking into it. If I dont hear anything back, where can I go from here? X

erm I think if they have responded that quick to say they will look into just leave it a week and if they haven't got back to you email them again to ask the outcome of their investigation into it. Its perfectly reasonable to phone and ask where your OH was when he was supposed to be at work but not to say all that crap. Was there anyway your OH could have let him or the angency know if he was going to be late for work? was he caught in traffic? It seems unreasonable for his boss to have rung you if it was the first time he had been late. Hope you get it sorted it.

He sent a text and left him a voicemail but coz the idiot was so busy ringing our landline (I leave it on silent till after I've got rylan sorted) he didnt check either. He got stuck in traffic on a road diversion due to an overturned lorry on the bypass.

I've given up now tbh. Turns out his boss is a company director so doubt anything will be done about it!
