Horrible cramp at bedtime

Last night, when hubby and I went to bed, I experienced an awful uterine cramp that lasted for a couple minutes before going away. It was so painful and unusual. So far, I've had mild cramping, but nothing like this. I have no bleeding or pain now, but I thought for sure that I was going to miscarry last night. Hubby looked it up and he said that all the websites mentioned that my uterus was stretching and there is nothing to be concerned about, and that I should actually expect it to happen a few more times. He also said that I should only be worried if there is bleeding, or of the pain is so bad that I can't talk through it.

Have any of you experienced this? Is this normal?

I am 4 weeks and yes I have. However, I have had it more than just a few times! They aren't severe, but they are definitely enough to get me scared
