Housing Benefit

I have just moved into a new place, It's a 1 bed which me and my 14 month old share a room in but it has just occured to me that my housing benefit may be cut as I was in a 2 bed house before. I was recieving a 2 bed allowance, will I still recieve the 2 bed allowance. I will not be able to afford my new place on the 1 bed allowance I'm so worried now as I didnt think of this before and I cant afford to live I moved here as it would be cheaper (before I remembered about the 2 bed allowance)

Unfortunately I think they base it on the house you are moving into (as long as it's not above your room allowance). Maybe phone your benefits office for some advice? xx

If you move into a one bed they will only pay you the one bed allowance.
