Ive just had a phone call from the housing, and it was arranged really for them to tell me how much I am intitiled to.

They have just said to me because I havent found a place they cant tell me, but how can I look for a place when I dont know how much I can get?

Ive found a place in a different council part but dont know if I am going to take it as its a flat and not a house and the price of the rent for the flat is a 3 bedroomed house in another council.

Can anyone tell me how much Id get roughly? Im from Liverpool

Most council websites have a calculator of some sort in the benefits section, this will give you an idea of what you could get.

The Job Centre have advisors that should be able to estimate what entitlements you can get.
If you're going for a council house then you can check the available housing in the area to give you a rough idea of how much average rents are.
If you're renting privately it then depends upon your local council whether they have Local Housing Allowance or regular housing benefit.
Most local councils have a calculator on their website to enable you to work out housing benefit entitlement.

Well The housing benefit information on who can claim Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit, and provides a downloadable claim form????
