Are you all sleeping normal?

I have been waking up every morning at 3:30-3:40am and I dont understand it for the past two weeks. I am just super sensitive and have been doing this the past few weeks. I only am a few weeks in and shouldnt feel this way yet...

I am going to get a pillow to cuddle with maybe that would help

I've been sleeping really badly since about 6 weeks too. I wake up at like 5am and then bam im wide awake. I try to stay up late as possible (although im heading to bed now at 9pm! lol) as that usually helps me sleep through.

My sleep has just sorted itself out in the last week a little bit. Still getting up to pee a lot in the middle of the night, but from probably week 5-7 I was constantly waking up and just lying there!

It usually takes me about 15-20 minutes after my head hits the pillow to fall asleep. I wake at least every 4 hours to pee now. Before this week, I only woke once during the night to go. Last night I woke one hour after falling asleep, 4 hours after that and then not even 2 hours after that. I am sooo sleepy!

It depends on the night. Last night I slept great, but the night before I was having breathing troubles. Lately that's been the issue that has been keeping me awake or waking me up. Not fun.

I go to sleep just fine but end up waking up at around 2 AM and can't sleep again for a couple of hours. I hate it! Not to mention needing to pee every 3 hours or so. I am so so so tired. Its been like this since week 5.

Sleeping bad and waking earlier than normal xxx

Exactly the same! I sleep alright but then I wake at ridiculous o'clock - around 4 or 5 and then have a horrible time getting back to sleep and staying asleep. Usually it's because I have to pee or because I feel sick but sometimes no reason at all.

Wow I thought I was the only one. I don't have any problems going to sleep b/c I'm so tired but do have trouble staying asleep. I thought it was b/c I am a very lite sleeper anyways but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I can even put in my earplugs and still wake up at 3:30-5:00am and not be able to get back into a good sleep. Plus the occasional pit stop to the bathroom twice a night has left this mommy very sleepy. Its a never ending cycle...

I'm having trouble going back to sleep after I wake up around 4 or 5am! I usually have no trouble sleeping for 9, even 10 hrs.

I have fallen asleep midday twice this past weekend though (in the car with my husband driving).

I can't complain as I haven't had much other symptoms yet. We'll see...

I feel as though I am not sleeping well at night and when something (i.e. OH snoring) wakes me, it feels like it takes me hours to go back to sleep. But on the other hand I could sleep all day long no problem when I am alone in bed. So today I actually got up at 8am, went back to bed at 11 and slept till about 3 and then went back to bed at 6 till 8. And now I am just about ready to snuggle up to my pillow again. (I am working freelance and don't have that many projects coming in) I wonder if I am anaemic and hope not cause just the thought of iron tablets makes me feel euurgh!

I am go to bed a little bit earlier than usual, I wake up about 4 times a night to pee, and I've been having lots of back pain and stuff while sleeping for some reason. I normally sleep on my belly but its starting to get uncomfortable so been switching sides every few minutes to get comfy. Oh ya and having the weirdest, scariest dreams!

I've been exhausted this whole time, pretty much all day, but find myself able to go to sleep at a good time. I do wake up at least every four hours to pee though and have been finding myself waking early. I can go back to sleep though if my husband hasn't stirred yet... except this morning when I got a positive and woke everyone up (everyone includes my husband and his mom and little sister who were staying over for a visit).

Aside from getting up 2-5 times every night to pee and having weird vivid dreams, I've actually been sleeping better than usual. I think maybe it's because I'm always so freaking exhausted!

I thought I could enjoy the early days before my body kicked itself into gear... thought the early trimester would be my last chance at sleep. Ha! Wishful thinking on my part!

I'd love to be able to find a comfortable position that I can stay in all night. I move around A LOT in my sleep and have this fear of squishing the baby (even though I've been told otherwise). So that doesn't help.

It's funny how common this is. I usually sleep soundly and enjoy sleeping in and now when I am getting home from work I am ready for bed and waking up super early and not being able to fall asleep. I am going to loom at pregnancy pillows this weekend and maybe that will help :)

Congrats! It is like Christmas morning, isn't it?! :cloud9:

I am used to sleeping on my belly and switched to my side a few weeks ago. The only way I am able to fall asleep is if I put a pillow under my hip/torso area and it supports my little belly. Otherwise, it is a no go!
