How can I record the heartbeat to put it online

Next time I go to the doctor, I really want to record little one's heartbeat and post it online. But I don't know what I could bring (other than a tape recorder) that I could use. Is there anything out there that I could record and then maybe put into a computer?

Does your mobile phone have a video function? Or failing that, bring a digital camera that you can record video on as well maybe, and transfer it to the laptop via a cable/bluetooth/memory card? Then you can upload it to youtube and share the link, or record the sound using the free sound recorder that comes with Windows while it's playing x
