I here people say they know when the baby is sleeping. I have no idea when my baby is sleeping :( Does that mean I have no connection with my baby? Is it because Im not normal size? I feel bad because I can't tell any of these things. All I feel every once in awhile is alittle punch, never feel him turning etc.

:hugs:

Aww hon, don't worry about that. I honestly don't know when he/she is sleeping lol I just assume because I don't feel the baby that it is. I can't for sure say "Oh yeah, the baby is definitely alseep". I'm pretty sure that goes the same for almost everyone, just an assumption.

Yeah don't worry, I agree with Jenny, I think people only say they know the baby is sleeping because it's moving around.

Don't go worrying yourself...

Its just our instincts because we cant feel them moving and knowing how much babies sleep we automatically presume they're sleeping when in actual fact we dont actually know if they're sleeping or not either.

All you need to watch for is that you have 10 movement inbetween 9am and 9pm says my MW.

NOT AT ALL!!!!!

People do not know for a fact that their baby is sleeping, no one can feel the eyelids close and sleep kick in.......it is presumed they are sleeping when there is minimal movement compared with eratic movement that may be felt at other times, that is all hun. You have as much connection to your baby as everyone else babe! :hugs:x

yep i agree i always say mines asleep when she hasnt moved for a while but obviously i dont really know coz i cant see inside me lol

*wipes forehead* I really thought I was disconnected or something. LOL I've never counted the movements, now Im going to hehe

Some people just assume that when they feel no movement their baby must be sleeping. But there is no way people can tell for sure. We don't feel every single motion in the first place so there's not even a gurantee that the baby isn't moving. Don't worry hun, though babies sleep a lot in the womb we really have no idea when they are sleeping for sure.

Thanks everyone for making me feel better. :hugs:

-Mango wow time is flying by for you, only 9 more weeks!!! :D
