How come I looked like i got hit by a truck after DS birth?
Every new mom I visited after DS birth all look fine, I was yellow I couldn't even turn my head without feeling dizzy I couldn't stand never mind walk around the bed after he was born. I had to close my eyes I was do dizzy. I got 7units of blood and I couldn't walk properly until 3weeks ppm. We met DH friend and his wife and at a week ppm she was walking around no problem. I was still in hospital at that stage. I'm really standing back lately there was something seriously wrong that happened at his birth.

Hun I have seen you post a few times about your birth and remember it as my youngest is about the same age as your Lo. If you got 7 units of blood I'm guessing it was very traumatic and the blood loss made you dizzy and weak. If I remember right you had a bad tear? Was that was caused your blood loss? But yeah if I was you I would be questioning WHY the tear was so bad.

Hugs :hugs: I had a section- and lost a lot of blood (due to placenta rupture as I went into pre-term labor with placenta previa), not enough for a fusion (almost), but enough that the first time I stood up I felt like I'd pass out! I was on iron supplements in the hospital (and after) to help my iron levels. I can only imagine if I felt that way- what you must of felt like?! One of my friends needed blood too due to low iron after her LO was born...

If you have worries about what happened- hopefully there is someone you can ask and get a proper explanation. No clue about tearing- but my SIL did (a lot) and it took weeks for her to feel proper again- and not be in pain every time she sat. Every birth is unique hun... wish I had better answers.
