Hey, mind if I join too? Would love a 'bump buddy' as well! I'm only a newbie here but love this site as it's so helpful.

I'm 8 wks + 1 with our first but don't have scan till May 2nd...seems ages away :(. I get morning sickness if I don't eat little and often, other than that just the odd bad headache and some mild cramps at the start. Tiredness getting better, thankfully, as have 2 horses and 2 big dogs to look after!! Wondering how I'll manage further along, yikes!!

Sars that is a long ways away for a scan. Thankfully my dr has me coming in every week to tem days to see the baby to make sure I'm progressing properly

I KNOW!! Didn't realise it was so long until I saw everyone on here getting scans from 7 wks +

I'm in Ireland and due to Government 'cut backs' you're only entitled to a 20 week scan unless private so we have to pay €100 each time :(

Really can't wait, I'm feeling great other than usual symptoms but it'll all seem so real when we see the scan. Hubby can't wait either!!

Can I join??!! :)

Hi everybody! I am 26 and this will be our #2!! I'm six weeks and 1 day, I have been feeling extremely tired and want to sleep all the time:sleep:, a little nausea(Just started on Sunday) and to talk about clingy...my 4 year dd cries over everything, is always wanting to be around me or touch me, and she is constantly wanting me to just stay with her. I have also been feeling a lot of stretching/pulling pains. Congrats to all of you!!! :happydance::happydance:

Hello ladies:flower:,

So if anyone happens to read this, my question is how to find a bump buddy. I have been posting in different forums trying to reach out to people, but it feels as though I am getting ignored! I even made a preggo journal thinking that would work. I have so much to say, and love engaging in conversation, so I do not know why this is happening.

I didn't have female support with my first (which was a very scary pregnancy towards the end), so it would be nice to have female support from at least one person this time... Okay the soap opera is turned off now. Lol:haha:

P.S.
I don't think it is the hormones because I am in a pretty good mood, just confused...

I'll be your buddy! X

I have had two scans now the first to rule out ectopic and the second to make sure the baby is growing and we saw the heart beat it was at 88 which is normal if it had just started so we go again on the tenth for our third scan.. It's nerve racking and exciting all at once

I only get 2 scans @ around 14 & 22 wks unless there are problems :(

Anyone staying team yellow?

We did last time but DH thinks he wants to find out this time so not sure what we'll do yet.

We are going to find out, although we might as well just paint the room and plan for a boy because with dh family history the girls are rare if ever. Dh wants a girl I want a happy healthy screaming baby

We stayed team yellow with RJ, our angel, but we are going to find out this time! Since I had a little boy I really can not imagine not having another little boy...I am kind of obsessed about it. So we will find out so that I am not disappointed on the day of our rainbow's birth. Don't get me wrong I will be over the moon if we have a little girl I just need to be prepared! We loved being surprised though...It was an amazing experience! Maybe we will do it for our third and fourth...who knows! :)

I am only having a early dating scan because I am considered high risk. With my last pregnancy I only had 3 ultrasounds, all after 20 weeks!

Look at all the bump buddies we all found. Thanks for starting this thread. My oh and I haven't really talked about finding out the gender or not but I kind of want to stay team yellow. Only because with our first my inlaws actually convinced us not to name our son what we wanted too. It's not even like we were thinking a strange/unique name. But until my first scan on Thursday we haven't really talked about me being pregnant. We don't want to get our hopes up because I'm having no symptoms whatsoever besides few bits of period cramps.

What are all of your baby name picks?

Boy: Raif Shaheed or Hale Shaheed

Girl: Hazel Eileen or Zahra Eileen

For a boy we like Collin, Benjamin, or landen were not sure about a middle names yet for a girl we like Riley and hubby likes more names but that's the only one we have really agreed on

Hi Karen I saw your post about the engagement I only read it though because there are a lot of opinionated/ hormonal ladies on here and I thought you had enough input on the cause but I do wish you two a happy and healthy pregnancy and a fun and exciting wedding when you twonare ready!

As for the morning sickness I don't have any yet, I am still nervous that something might happen with the baby because I have had cramps and spotting since 2 1/2 weeks ago and some mild cramps, I know it's all normal but it's my first and I am a nervous nelly.

I have had some funny taste buds lately everything has been SOOoOOO salty even if I haven't added salt because I don't like salt anyways but we went out to eat Saturday and I couldn't eat my dinner because all I could taste was salt.

A little bit about me I am 22 years old and married my hubby is 28 we have three dogs ( two shih tzu's and a great Dane) of course the big one is our lap dog and she isn't coping well with not being able to sit on my stomach. The hubster is a twin and well as am I and we are both identical.

We saw the babies heart beat at 5 weeks 6 days and our next appointment is on the tenth and the close it gets the more scared I am that a miscarriage I'd going to happen

Thank you :) Yes I got plenty of hormonal opinions (lol) but it's good to hear different people's reactions and thoughts.

I'm also nervous about a miscarriage, but I try to think happy thoughts. At times I get sad because I feel as if I'm keeping myself from feeling excited about my pregnancy out of fear of losing it. My next scan is on April 30th where they will test for down syndrome and health things. I'm sooo scared, but I'm trying to tell myself it will be a normal scan.

I hope to you find food your able to enjoy. I've had a rough time finding things my morning sickness doesn't spit back out. You said you and your hubby are both identical twins! That's neat! :)

You have very nice dogs. :) I don't think I could handle them.
I've always had tiny pups. My last chihuahua died just a week before my bfp.

We weren't able to hear a heartbeat until 7+wks! Amazing & beautiful sound right?! Best of luck on your next scan. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Krippy- loving the names Raif Shaheed and Zahra Eileen.

Finallytrying- loving the name Benjamin.

OH and I briefly went through name books but ended up reading more on the birth and first year books. Names we agreed on were Jayde for a girl or Ralph for a boy. I'm sure we still have many more names to toss around though.

Hubby and I were thinking we would find out and not tell anyone else but I don't if I could not tell the gender but I can hold the name back till the baby is born

We will be finding out the sex at first possible chance :haha: too excited to buy things, decorate, and over all just know!

We have our names picked already!! What we did was I picked a bunch of names I liked then husband went through those and picked the ones he liked then we cut them out folded them in half and put them in a hat by gender and let our 7 month old draw out the names! So he picked, But the names we liked of course. ;)

Boy: Lucas Aidan..or Aidan Lucas we cant decide which sounds better
Girl: Madalyn Annaleise (still not 100% how we will be spelling Madalyn)

Your hair is absolutely beautiful! And you DD is gorgeous! Welcome!

I am feeling symptoms earlier too...I am thinking that maybe I am just more in tune to my body since having RJ but who knows right... :)

Welcome everyone else! :happydance:

You are soo sweet! thank you :)

As for finding out the sex, definitely would find out again. Maybe if we consider having a third then keep that a surprise? I dont know!

And names, i can only think of girl names: zara and layla. As for a boys name- havnt a clue!!

MizzPod: I need to find this thread of yours! I was talking to OH about dd's behaviour too, as she won't be spending the same kind of time with him. (she'll easily sit with me watching telly or whatever, as she hardly EVER did that kind of thing before, and she always wants me to pick her up too which is different).
