How do I find a bumb buddy???

I had an epidural with my son. I didnt feel paralyzed i just felt like my hiney and legs were floating on nice warm clouds. I also didnt feel "high" i remember absolutly everything. They gave me first dose at 3cm and i asked for more a couple hours after i passed 7cm. They gave it to me and checked as soon as the drug man left. I was a 10cm they waited 15min and i started pushing. I couldnt feel anything when i pushed but i had muscle memory from...you know...potty time. And i visualized him coming out. He was out in 15min and it was only because the cord was around his neck really tightly 3timesand it made the contractions drop off. They cleaned him right up and he went straight to breast and after feeding and pics i WALKED to my recov room:thumbup:.

When my sister was in labor they would have given Her an epidural as soon as she asked for it whether he pain was a 3 or a 9 thy kept asking her if she wanted one. Although she had pee eclampsia and had to end up having a c section because they thought she was going to have a stroke.

Pre eclampsia was no fun for me! :( I guess it depends what hospital you r at whether they ask or not. I am at a new OB this time, so I am nervous at how they are, but so far very friendly and realistic; no sugar coating which is what I prefer :)

Her pre eclampsia wasn't fun for any of us, I was out of town and flew home so I could be there but her husband doesn't get what a bond is between sisters can mean and doesnt get why we are so close besides us being twins, he made me so mad while she was pregnant I wanted to go to one of her ultra sounds and he didn't want me there I would have been in the room for her birth but no I didn't need to be. But she doesn't remember any of the nurses or doctors that were doing her c section she was going in and out of " being there" and thankfully they told her they had to get the baby out or else I think she was very close to having a stroke. This time though she was at my first appointment and he still doesn't get why we want to be there. ( he is my second to least favorite in law maybe tied for first) I am glad my hubby is willing to let me have what I want since it's my body and what ever comforts me most he wants and he understands the twin thing, and if his brother and sister in law weren't such hateful people they would be invited to scans too

gretavon- LOL that is what most women say, they felt "high". I am glad you got to remember the experience :) Wow you walked that soon?:happydance::happydance: It really does depend on the women then because every story is different. How cool!

finallytrying- That's sad about not being fully supported by your hubby when your twin was preggos :(. I hope everything goes well and am very glad that you sis will be with you!:hugs::)

Hi ladies,:flower:

So this is probably TMI seriously, but I have a very personal, weird question...

Um, for the past few nights, I have been waking up out of my sleep with a big O  And my dreams have nothing to do with that really. So is this happening to anyone else??? I get scared because I know I am not supposed to DTD until my appointment on Friday when the doc says everything is prayfully good, and having a big O is big time DTD! hahahahahaha

Oh, today has been nothing but stretching and fullness of the stomach... It is preventing me from wanting to eat anything!

Hope everyone is doing pretty good. Still no morning sickness for me! :happydance:

A big O when waking up! Must be nice. :winkwink: lol
This hasn't happened to me, but it sounds like your body wants to DTD. :haha: It's surely a pleasant way around the DTD restrictions from your doctor. There isn't penetration so I hope having O's isn't affecting you and that all is well. :)

My ms is still around daily. Now in the early mornings I vomit stomach acid! It's horrible! Any one else going through this?

Yeah I don't think it's affecting anything, but it is soooooooooo weird! I told DH and he was like "awwww, we can't... " LOL:haha:

I have been getting MS since Sunday, and today was the beginning of I think the daily MS I got with DD... I didn't throw up with her (I am terrified of vomiting; last time was when I was a little girl). But I will say that I have been gagging on and off today, mostly after eating a full meal or when wake up throughout the night, and early morning.

Karin I hope it gets a little better for you

Hiya All!!

i've missed a lot i think!

the big O? thats got to be positive right? hehe ;)

As for MS, i've been feeling rubbish for about 1.5 weeks, and i tend to feel ok for about 4/5 hours in the late afternoon and early evening but feel sick otherwise. Have been sick a couple of times too.
But I am so anxious about it getting worse. I think i was on the cusp of hyperemesis with dd, and it kicked in around 6-7 weeks. and had about 4-5 weeks off work as it was horrible.

Is anyone putting on any weight? I shockingly found i've put on about 4lbs!! and im hoping some of that is water weight as I can't seem to drink any more than a glass or two the whole day.

Misscurly: with my first i put on almost 8-10lbs in my first tri. And that was with terrible ms. This time i havent put on any weight yet.

I have missed a lot in this thread too! I feel like i havent read in this thread in a few days. Ill have to catch up because the big O topic soinds interesting.

For everyone: i just wanted to say not all bleeding is a bad sign. I started bleeding yesterday (no clots but it was bright red). I went in for an emergency ultrasound and saw and heard little beans heart beating away. Everything seems to be fine. I was told by my doctor that it i could be bleeding bc oh and i had dtd the night before ( i guess we got a bit rough)..

Misscurly- LOL Yeah, I read that it is actual more common in pregnancy to wake up with the big O! It hasn't happened since last week, but it was so crazy! :haha:

My MS is getting worse, but no throwing up. I just gag, and feel nauseous on and off for most of the day until a few hours into the evening, and I am not sure why that happens!!!

I refuse to weigh myself because before I got pregnant, I was ten pounds from my pre pregnancy weight, so I know I will obsess if I see that I have gained weight! lol DH was like you look great and stop obsessing, so I told him to hide the weight scale heehee :dohh: but don't worry, you may be bloated or it could be water weight, and remember it's our 2nd baby, so we may gain a little more. Do not stress too much on your weight gain because as long as your doc says you and baby are healthy then that's all that matters... (But, I keep thinking I may have put on a couple of pounds, but I keep telling myself that I am pregnant and as long as I eat healthy and walk every day, my weight will be fine):flower:

Kelkel- That is amazing at how different your pregnancies have been so far with your weight. You would think that throwing up would cause you to lose or not gain weight, but you did. And with this one, you didn't! Ahhh, the wonders and mysteries of pregnancy...:)

welcome back... LOL I was starting to think my buddies abandoned me  :haha:
But yeah, I had the big O like four times last week, and it happened as I was waking up out of a dream!!! DH was so jealous LOL I know TMI... I read it was common to happen more in pregnant women! I thought I was the only one. lol But it is a nice way to wake up :happydance::blush::haha:

Take it easy on DTD!!! Yeah, sometimes it can be completely normal... i had spotting with DD, and a little with this one, but my ultrasound is this Friday to make sure it is not ectopic. I know it can be a bad sign for some women unfortunately:(, but for others, it could be normal! If all is well on Friday, we can resume DTD lol:happydance:

Morning sickness is KILLING me :( I was sick with my son but not this long or intense. I gag all day, even in the middle of night I wake up so ill. Im trying not to eat too many unhealthy or greasy things since I heard that makes it worse but UGH. I have nausea medicine they gave me with my son since I could not keep anything down then and I take it now most days..its AMAZING but I feel bad taking it so much. I guess If I didnt I would never eat and just be in the bath room all day. :nope:

Just got home from vacation in London, it was nice but illness and exhaustion plus my sons whining made it not so enjoyable. CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS TO PASS!!

Tomorrow we go and see little bean! Ill upload the ultrasound pic when we get back if no one minds :) show how big baby is at this point.

Misspod: these 2 pregnancies have been so different with my 1st i was terribly sick all the time and when i did eat all i wanted was food that was terrible for me. This time no ms no cravings and im eating healthy (i refuse to put on the weight i did with #1 i was 5lbs away from prepregnancy weight when i got pregnant this time).. also with my first i had absolutly no problems this time i feel like im going to have a lot of problems..

Daddiesgift: i got to see little bean yesterday at 7 weeks so tiny all i could see was a dot and the heart flickering away.. its amazing how 1 week makes such a difference. With our 1st i had an us at 8 weeks and it looked like a baby.

I weighed myself yesterday and dropped 5 lbs. Then again, my ms has been a 24/7 thing. It's gotten a little better. Yesterday OH made some egg w/ bacon and wheat bread. :) Today I've had fruit all day, and a small chicken sandwich about two hours ago. Felt great to get some food in my system since weeks before I couldn't stomach anything.

No stomach acid this morning.

Vacation in London! Despite your illness and exhaustion it must have been fun. OH and I hope to take a nice vacation before our baby arrives. :)
Ultrasound pics always welcomed! :) Can't wait to see how your baby is doing.

Hello ladies,

I hope everyone's MS gets better!! Losing 5lbs is crazy!!! I know it is because of MS, but wow! I just chickened out of weighing myself. If I don't know, I won't go crazy!!! LOL:haha:

So I am currently ordered to bedrest with no lifting or anything (even my 18 month) because I had (TMI) like some brown mucous discharge after a bm this morning. I know it can be normal, but with my history, I can't take any chances. So I am waiting for the OB nurse to call me back to see what they want me to do. I have an appt tomorrow at 1100 for an ultrasound so I don't know if they want me to come in today or tomorrow. I am praying for good news with the little peanut.:happydance: I'm gonna stay optimistic, even tho i am a little nervous....:nope::thumbup:

*Update you guys when I find something out
