How do you agree?

OH and I are thinking about names already but we just can't seem to agree on a boys name!
The only name he came up with was Edward which I'm not a fan of. I like it but only as a middle name.
He refused to think of any others and shoots down every one I mention. I've got a list of about 6 boys names I like but because they're not Edward he won't even consider them.

How do you come to agree on a name if your OH is that stubborn? It's so frustrating!

I was having exactly the same problem with DH! Very single name I would suggest he just said no no no!
Eventually I gave him the baby name book and told him to find at least 10 out of there he liked. I had already done the same. I was seriously surprised that I had at least 5 of the names on his list and one of the names he chose I had seen in the book, loved it, but didn't bother writing it down because I thought NO WAY he would ever go for that. To my delight he did and that is the name I think our LO will have! So I effectively get my own way.

Lesson : With men, don't push...just let them think it was their idea all along!

This is what we did too! We each sat at opposite ends of the room n read a baby name book, with pen n paper to hand! The only name that we both wrote was Quillan (tho OH found it with the traditional irish spelling Coillhan).
Then my friend suggested travis n we both loved it!

Secret from family for now! It's too early to talk to them about names, we haven't even had the 12w scan yet

For a girl we've decided on Evie Rose (mums name is Rose so I want to surprise her with that if we find we're on team pink)... For a boy we're probably going for Toby Edward I love the name Toby and his gramps name was Edward so we're going with that for the mn
