How do you breastfeed?

The amount of time people are saying is totally freaking me out! Julian usually eats for 20-30 minutes total. Is this not long enough? He doesn't cry out to eat again for at least 3 hours, sometimes longer. If I pump and he eats that way, he eats 3 oz.

^ chances are, the reason some babies are on the boob longer, is because they are comfort suking-I would not be concerned that your baby is not getting enough, because he would let you know if he wanted more

Daniel feeds approx 10-25mins one side at each feed and I let him drop the latch, wind him then offer him the same boob again (I hand express at this point to check there is something there to offer).

This is fine, some babies feed more efficiently than others. Jack usually only feeds for about 15 minutes total. Don't worry, sounds like he's doing great
