Hi everyone,

I took my first opk this month and got a positive on CD 13. Today is CD 26 and I started my period, but I was spotting yesterday and day before, very lightly. When do I stop counting cycle days to figure out length of luteal phase? Today, when AF arrived fully, or 2 days ago when I started spotting?

Thanks!

From all my research while TTC, the luteal phase starts the day of ovulation and ends when AF comes (spotting not included). Good luck!

yes the spotting is considered part of the luteal phase, so when you have your first day of full bleed that is the first day of your next cycle.
