I usually pour a cup of bleach in full bath tub with toys. Leave for an hour, drain, then thoroughly rinse toys, and let air dry completely before putting back in toy box.

Is it safe to bleach toys?

Bleach is perfectly safe to sterilize. It does not stay on them as it evaporates quickly.
