I'm asking on behalf of a friend, how do you all make up your bottles?

Thank you.

Usually with a tommee tippee perfect prep but if not at home I take a sterilised bottle (sometimes with sterilising fluid in) and the powder separate. Put about 1-2oz of boiling water in bottle add powder then top with cool boiled water or filtered water kept in a sterile bottle. If I'm going out all day though somewhere with no access to boiled water etc I just take the ready made bottles of formula.

I use the easiest method possible: add formula to room temperature filtered water in non-sterilized bottles for immediate consumption. If we are going out, I use bottled water instead.

sterilse bottles and put in 4oz of boiling water the put the bottles in fridge, when baby needs a bottle we top up 3oz with boiling water then add formula.

I pour X amount of boiled water into sterelized bottles and then store them in the fridge, when I need them I add the formula, stick it in the microwave for 10 seconds (naughty mammy! 😱) and give it the shaking of a lifetime.

I make them up at night before bed. I use liquid concentrate. Put the bottles all in the fridge and warm up as needed.

For my daughter we always made her feeds before bed cooled them before storing in the fridge if going out I would take one in a chill bag and heat when she was hungry. If we went for the whole day I used ready made cartons (she was happy to drink them at room temperature)

Pretty much like it says on the packet, except I did refrigerate them after in batches for up to 12 hours. Boil fresh water, let cool for 20-30 minutes, add to bottles, add powdered formula, shake, cool in cold water and then feed or refrigerate. I used to make them in day and night batches. So 3-4 for the day first thing in the morning, then at night I'd make another 3-4 for bedtime, overnight, and the first feed of the morning. Because I made them in batches and chilled (re-heated them in a bowl of boiled water as needed), I didn't have to take shortcuts or wait for more than a couple minutes for them, which was easier.

We did the same, except we used tap water when at home.

For this upcoming one we're getting the Baby Brezza, which is supposed to be amazing! :haha:

Same except I got a filter for my tap, then ended up getting a Britta pitcher and loved it!

Im no longer having to do bottles but I can't recommend the Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machine enough.... just the knowing you are doing it extremely safely (formula powder is not sterile) , very quickly, and a perfect temperature and so on. Not to mention it is fool proof for any other family members around who might make up bottles.

When out, I used the pre made liquid formula bottles you can buy, and just served at room temp straight out of the bottle.
