How do you use opk's? HELP!!

The doctor is putting me on femara, but he says I should use a opk...so which is the lease expensive? I have no idea how they work or anything...any advice?

Best one, general instructions, when to check, what are normal temps...I know nothing...I'm not even sure it would show up that I ovulate!!

Im new too but this is what ive learned u can buy in bulk online wayyy cheaper I heard the wondfo spell check on that brand work pretty good its best to test twice a day the shorter af is thr sooner u wanna start testing mine lasts 7 days ugly i know so i start testing cd10 look for slippery mucus mine is shiny lol, avoid first. Morning urine, strips r harder to distinguish sometimes clear blue opks are good but damn pricey, hmnnn for temping u need a bbt thermometer which means it will read numbers like 97.89 vs 97.8 u get an extra digit place it as close to urself as possible i keep mine under my pillow avoid moving at all costs as soon as ur eyes open gently reach for it and place it.in ur mouth avoid moving! Lay still and u got ur temp. And ovulation spike can be anywhere from .4 to an entire 1.0 degree u can see ur temp shift three higher consecutive temps confirms ovulation if in fact the egg didnt fertilize ur temps will drop as u get closer to af
